About Us: We Work With Elite Kitchen & Bath Design Experts

Trade Professionals

My first priority is to refer you to an existing kitchen designer/dealer customer of Dovetail Marketing in your area. And supply you with any information that is beneficial to that relationship.

If we don’t have a dealer in your area I have two ways we can sell kitchens together. Either way will give you great value and move you towards becoming a designer/dealer customer.

Ways we can work together:

Option #1

***This gives you best possible price without buying direct. It also has the most responsibility

  • You buy samples to represent quality and make color selections (Minimum $ 1000.00 investment)
  • You measure kitchen and are responsible for noting any structural issues affecting design-this helps us edit your design and order
  • You design kitchen (I provide resources to make sure you get all the information)
  • You collect appliance information
  • You make color selections, door style, and construction method (full overlay, standard inset or beaded inset) selections with your customer (I provide forms that give a step by step process for collecting information)
  • I will help process order. Meaning I edit and ask questions, and specify appliance openings as needed
  • You approve and sign off on order for accuracy.
  • Eligible cabinet lines-Brighton Cabinetry, 6 Square Cabinets, River Run Cabinetry
  • Payment made to Dovetail Marketing, Inc.

Option #2

***This is more expensive than Option #1, but still moves you closer to becoming a dealer if that is your goal.

  • You buy samples to represent quality and make color selections (Minimum $ 1000.00 investment) Cost credited after you purchase $ 25,000.00
  • You measure kitchen and are responsible for noting any structural issues affecting design
  • We design kitchen-key difference from Option #1
  • You collect appliance information
  • You make color selections, door style, and construction method (full overlay, standard inset or beaded inset) selections with your customer (I provide forms that give a step by step process for collecting right information)
  • I will help process order. Meaning I edit and ask structural questions, and specify appliance openings as needed
  • Order accuracy is our responsibility –key difference from Option #1
  • Eligible cabinet lines-Brighton Cabinetry, 6 Square Cabinets, River Run Cabinetry
  • Payment made to Dovetail Marketing, Inc.

Under both Options you bare the majority of the responsibility. If you typically buy from a kitchen designer/dealer they are taking responsibility for these areas. That is the biggest value they provide. It is the most time consuming. And holds the greatest financial responsibility.

I have operated this business model for 15 years. Most of my original customers have become kitchen dealers. And continue to buy through me-just on a direct purchase relationship with manufacturer.

Here are the reasons it will not work for you.

You think the details of Options #1 and Options #2 don’t apply to you. You either don’t want to buy samples. Or you want to blur lines of who is responsible for what. That is basically it. If you do the things spelled out we will have a great working relationship.

I know it works-I have successfully completed 100’s of kitchens using this process.

On a more practical side maybe you just don’t have the time. Or you underestimate the time required to cover the details with your customer.  Understandable-you haven’t done this level of detail before.

There are options. If you want to contract with someone to do the selections I will train them. For instance if you are a contractor the numbers will still work for you to hire an interior designer to do color selections/coordination. Build the cost of designer into your pricing and simply do business under a slightly different model.

This isn’t for everyone. However, if you are motivated to add dollars to your bottom line, have the time, and have the desire to change how you manage your kitchen remodeling projects it will work great.
